Best thing to cheer myself up is to dance it off 💕😂💁♀️😋

Headstands are the best for just beginning inversions 😚
-Be sure it’s the crown of the head that touches the ground (not too far back or far forward)
-Engage your core and glutes, remember the more you squeeze the lighter you will feel

I’ve been dealing with a wrist injury, and it’s been very challenging for me to take time off. My livelihood is my wrist. Handstands, yoga, climbing, painting.. 💜 I’ve had to adapt, and it hasn’t been as horrible as I thought it would because it’s giving me new activities to focus my energy on! It’s made me slow down and focus my energy on stretching and light activities like walking. I’m getting to really observe and appreciate the nature around me. 🪴
Know that life will throw these challenges your way, but what you choose to do from then on is in your control. 🥰 Begin to see the positive in everything around you🌌💕🫶

Get a great shoulder opening and hamstring stretch with this wide leg forward fold twist. 💕💖

Have you been stretching? Try holding a stretch for a minimum of five long, deep breaths. Allow yourself to surrender deeper into each stretch.
A recent wrist injury has prevented me from lots of exercises, but I’m able to still stretch and meditate daily to keep my mind at peace. ☮️ 💜

Addicted to playing!
For me handstands have been a love/hate relationship.💜✨ I love seeing the progress, but it was super frustrating when I first began. It was lots of work getting over the fear of falling backwards and lots of conditioning the shoulders and core.
Now it’s one of my favorite things to work on, and I couldn’t imagine a world without them🥰😋
